Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator will assist the sales team in preparing lighting layouts, quantity take-offs, and technical drawings using AutoCAD. The role involves calculating lumen levels, creating 3D lighting designs, and ensuring accurate project documentation. AutoCAD proficiency is mandatory — applicants without this skill will be automatically rejected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the sales team to review project drawings, specifications, and lighting requirements.
  • Prepare AutoCAD lighting layouts, lumen calculations, and 3D visualizations for various projects.
  • Conduct lighting calculations (lux/lumen levels) to ensure designs meet project and technical standards.
  • Assist in product selection and preparation of BOQs, lighting schedules, and technical submittals.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to gather technical data, pricing, and product samples.
  • Ensure all project drawings, layouts, and documents are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Support the sales team during client meetings or presentations by providing technical insights.
  • Maintain proper documentation for ongoing and completed projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory — candidates without AutoCAD skills will not be considered.
  • Knowledge of lighting principles, fixture selection, and lux/lumen calculations.
  • Strong analytical and coordination skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: BD250.000 - BD470.000 per month
