Project Co-Ordinator (VAPT -Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing activities)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Project Coordinator to support and manage VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing) activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, with hands-on experience coordinating technical projects, preferably in IT security or infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate multiple penetration testing projects across web, mobile, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the customer during the onsite engagement.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Facilitate retesting cycles and manage new scope of work as requested by the customer.
- Ensure adherence to security testing methodologies, compliance standards, and project governance.
- Allocate resources and manage pentesters to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain documentation including SoWs, test plans, reports, and closure notes.
- Coordinate with internal teams to enable knowledge transfer and transition if the project scope changes
- Track and report project status, risks, and issues to internal and customer stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field.
- 2–5 years of overall experience with 6–12 months of hands-on VAPT coordination or support experience.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, assessment methodologies, and basic network/system concepts.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, or similar tools).
- Certification in cybersecurity (CEH, CompTIA Security+, or similar) will be an advantage.
- Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Technically inclined professional with exposure to IT security or project management.
- Proactive, analytical thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset and a problem-solving approach.
