Project Cost Control associate

Project Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Cost Controls Associate to support a Project Cost Controls team across multiple project portfolios. This role plays a critical part in maintaining strong cost control discipline across projects, enabling project teams and leadership to make informed decisions and support successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner 1:1 with a Project Cost Analyst to support a designated group of projects
• Assist with day-to-day project cost management and reporting activities
• Prepare for and participate in project update meetings, including presenting cost variances and forecast updates
• Support core cost control processes, including:
• Invoice processing
• Contract financial commitment tracking
• Accrual collection
• Project administrative closeout
• Ensure standardized cost control processes are followed across multiple projects

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects while following standardized processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Familiarity with project controls tools and techniques
• Prior experience in energy, infrastructure, construction, or capital projects preferred

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
