Project Development Engineer- Bidding & Tenders

Job Summary:

Provides analytical and documentation support across market screening, feasibility, permitting inputs, and bid preparation for power/energy/infrastructure opportunities in Egypt and the broader Middle East. Reports to the Senior Project Development Engineer / Project Development Lead.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct market analysis.
• Basic understanding to develop proposals, process of bidding and bidding strategy.
• Coordinate/ lead proposals stakeholders (external and internal).
• Basic understanding to feasibility studies.
• Ability to conduct cost estimate / Project price analysis / P&L analysis.
• Project review of the commercial/business subjects.
• Assists Projects Development Manager with customer presentations and participates in customer meetings as needed.
• Lead customer(s) presentations and participates in customer meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree.
• Construction Management study is recommended.
• Post graduate studies such as MSc., MBA, PMP is a plus.
• 1-2years of experience.
• Previous experience in the industrial / Energy sector is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to assist in drafting proposals.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, such as the proposals group, suppliers, and other departments in PGESCO.
• Can handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of the sales process, customer relationship management, and the ability to support the development of win strategies.
