Project Director

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead and oversee large-scale Building construction projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be a Civil Engineering graduate with a minimum of 20 years of experience , including significant leadership roles within Tier 1 construction companies in the UAE . This role demands strategic oversight, stakeholder management, and technical excellence to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex civil engineering projects across Dubai.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams including consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, government authorities, and partners.
• Provide strategic direction and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies.
• Report regularly to senior leadership on project status, risks, and performance metrics.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in civil engineering and project management.
• Proven track record of delivering mega projects in the UAE with Tier 1 construction firms .
• Strong understanding of UAE construction laws, permitting processes, and industry standards.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
