Role Purpose
The role involves strategic planning, contract administration, stakeholder coordination, and performance monitoring to ensure successful project delivery.

Administer and manage FM and O&M contracts delivered by service providers.

Recommend and implement optimal FM strategies, methodologies, and tools.

Monitor project performance against KPIs and report progress to the PMO.

Ensure compliance with government, stakeholder, and PMO requirements.

Participate in stakeholder meetings and steering committees as directed.

Oversee service delivery, budget, timelines, and quality for Phase 1 projects.

Manage scope changes and validate payment requests from service providers.

Identify project risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Facilitate effective communication between service providers, FMO, and PMO.

Provide technical support and expert advice on FM and O&M matters.

Coordinate asset handover and transition activities.

Lead progress meetings and resolve operational issues as needed.

Manage internal FMO resources and project-related data.

Education (Preferred): Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management from a recognized Western university

Education (Acceptable): Degree in Operations Management

Experience: Minimum 15 years in FM/O&M, with leadership roles in large-scale operations

Background: Western-educated with prior experience as a Director of Facilities or Operations

Specialization: Strong focus on soft services, particularly landscape and irrigation

Membership in a recognized professional body (e.g., CIBSE, RICS, CIOB, IWFM) is desirable.

Arabic speaker or national preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
