Data Centre Project Director for construction
Will lead end-to-end execution of high-value projects, managing budget, schedule, quality, and safety from design to commissioning. They act as the primary client liaison, overseeing multidisciplinary teams (MEP/CSA), mitigating risks, and ensuring technical resilience.
Core Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:
Direct the full lifecycle of complex, large-scale data centre projects, from feasibility to handover. Managing the Data centre is not required.

Project Governance:
Develop and implement project strategies, budgets, and schedules, ensuring compliance with KPIs, quality standards, and local regulations.

Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and consultants, managing relationships and reporting to executive levels.

Technical Oversight:
Coordinate design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases, with a focus on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.

Risk Management:
Proactively identify project risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure compliance and prevent downtime.

Team Leadership:
Mentor and lead multidisciplinary project teams, including project managers, engineers, and site staff.
Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience:
10+ years of experience in data centre construction or mission-critical projects.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of MEP, CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) works, and commissioning processes.

Certifications:
PMP or LEED AP qualifications are often preferred.

Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, commercial acumen, and proficiency in MS Project.
