Job Title Project Director
Location: Saudi Arabia
Role Purpose
Responsible for the execution and control of a project. This role involves supervising Project
Manager, ensuring project is completed safely, in the expected quality, on schedule and within
budget, while adhering to contract scope. The Project Director plays a critical role in facilitating
communication with senior client representatives and the assigned Project Management and
Engineering teams.
Key Accountabilities Key Activities
1.Project and Operations Management

Oversee a project or a group of Project Managers and ensure effective project execution.

Review and approve HSE Plans.

Manage execution in accordance with QESH requirements
2.Team Coordination and Support

Communicate with client representatives and monitor project progress.

Organize team meetings to ensure effective communication.

Monitor performance and provide guidance to managers.
3.Document Management and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of projects and operations.

Prepare regular reports on project progress and compliance.

Ensure accuracy of internal reports before submission.
4.Budget and Resource Management

Monitor project budgets and coordinate procurement activities.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage expenses.
5.Stakeholder Communication and Liaison

Serve as a point of contact for administrative matters among stakeholders.

Address inquiries and provide timely assistance
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Industry / Domain
Necessary Knowledge and Experience

Minimum 20 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role in mega projects.

Strong understanding of management processes, policies, and best practices.

Skills in planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.

Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
Education and Certification Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

Master’s degree or Professional certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus.

Familiarity with ISO standards related to management processes is advantageous.
Job Specific Technical Skills

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office management tools.
