Project Director

Job Summary

The Project Director is responsible for leading large, complex projects from planning through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals while managing stakeholders, teams, risks, and resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of major projects.
  • Develop project strategies, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Oversee project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Monitor progress, milestones, risks, and issues, and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Communicate with senior management, clients, and stakeholders on project status and performance.
  • Ensure quality standards, compliance, and governance are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review reports, manage changes, and support decision-making at the executive level.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in project leadership, ideally managing large-scale or complex projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and resource planning.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and guide teams toward delivery targets.

Preferred Skills

  • Strategic planning and program oversight.
  • Process improvement and change management.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and reporting systems.
  • Experience in the relevant industry, such as construction, IT, or operations.

Pay: QAR240.00 - QAR350.00 per hour
