We are seeking an experienced IT Project Director to lead our technology projects and drive innovation across the academy.

Role Overview

The IT Project Director will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT and digital transformation projects. This leadership role requires strong project management expertise, technical knowledge, and the ability to align technology initiatives with institutional goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of IT projects across the academy.
• Develop and implement digital transformation strategies to modernize operations.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to identify technology needs.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, systems integration, and software deployment.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data governance, and regional regulations.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
• Mentor and guide IT staff to achieve project objectives.
• Report regularly to senior leadership on project progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Project Management.
• 8–10 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of delivering complex IT and digital transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, ERP systems, and enterprise applications.
• Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, PMP, PRINCE2 preferred).
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.

Pay: Up to QAR70,000.00 per month
