Project Director – MEP (KSA & Qatar)

As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a highly accomplished Project Director – MEP to lead and manage large-scale , high-value projects across Saudi Arabia and Qatar . This is a senior leadership role requiring strong expertise in delivering complex MEP systems within mega developments.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing multi-country projects, driving operational excellence, and ensuring successful project delivery from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and full accountability for the delivery of MEP and ICT mega projects across KSA and Qatar
• Manage the complete project lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, and final handover across multiple locations
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional and multicultural project teams operating in both countries
• Develop and implement project execution plans, schedules, and resource strategies aligned with business objectives
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with contractual and quality requirements
• Oversee commercial performance including budgeting, cost control, contract administration, and variation management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities in KSA and Qatar
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, statutory requirements, and HSE standards in both countries
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans to ensure smooth execution
• Oversee procurement strategies, subcontractor management, and supply chain coordination across regions
• Provide regular executive-level reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices in ELV project delivery

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in MEP / ICT project management
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical / Electronics / Telecommunications Engineering (Master’s is an advantage)
• Proven experience managing mega projects across multiple countries (KSA and/or Qatar preferred)
• Strong background in MEP systems and ICT Infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of regional regulations, project environments, and stakeholder management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• PMP or equivalent certification is preferred
