Program Director (Onshore)
Job Description: The Program Director is responsible for the execution of Major Capital Projects, including Pre-FEED, FEED, Detail Design, and PMC services.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver client satisfaction and meet contractual requirements
- Be accountable for project cost performance and accounts receivable
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and the company
- Ensure project execution complies with policies, procedures, and systems
- Manage and coordinate project leadership personnel
- Support Business Development and proposals for new opportunities
- Oversee all contracts within their program of works
- Share best practices among Project Managers
- Negotiate changes with the client
- Plan project execution, revise plans as necessary, and ensure adherence to the plan
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders
- Lead the project management team to ensure successful project completion and uphold client business ethics
- Maintain and promote company values
- Ensure project delivery aligns with Quality Management Systems
- Forecast workload and ensure deployment of sufficient resources, collaborating closely with the Engineering Manager
- Resolve inter-project conflicts
- Manage Saudization targets and support training requirements
- Regularly appraise direct reports
- Promote capturing and implementing lessons learned on projects
About You
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience managing engineering and procurement projects
- Strong knowledge of major capital projects and project portfolios
- Experience with greenfield and brownfield projects
- Experience working in the Middle East and Saudi Arabia
- Strong financial and commercial understanding of projects
- Over 20 years of relevant experience
- Ability to lead in challenging and multicultural environments
- Decision-making skills and ability to drive processes
- Strong management and administrative skills
- Ability to work within a team to establish direction, alignment, and commitment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Risk and change management capabilities
- Program and project planning skills
- Well-organized, credible, and decisive
Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering required
