Project Engineer

Job Description – Fit Out Project Engineer - IMMEDIATE JOINING ONLY

The Fit Out Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing interior fit-out and design execution works from concept to completion. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while maintaining compliance with design intent, technical specifications, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Coordination

• Assist in preparing project schedules, resource plans, and procurement strategies.
• Coordinate with designers, consultants, sub contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Review drawings, shop drawings, and technical documents for accuracy and compliance.

2. Site Execution & Supervision

• Oversee site activities to ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor subcontractors and ensure compliance with project timelines and safety requirements.
• Conduct daily/weekly site inspections and prepare progress reports.

3. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure materials and workmanship conform to approved submittals, mock-ups, and specifications.
• Implement quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, health, and safety standards.

4. Cost & Procurement Management

• Coordinate with procurement teams for timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Support the project manager in monitoring budgets and controlling costs.

5. Client & Stakeholder Coordination

• Communicate with clients, consultants, and project managers to ensure requirements are met.
• Provide technical support during client/consultant meetings.
• Address site issues and propose practical engineering solutions.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain records of inspections, progress reports, variation orders, and site instructions.
• Support in preparing handover documentation including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and snag lists.
• Track and report project progress, risks, and delays to management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Engineering.
• 3–7 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out and design execution (luxury, retail, hospitality, or corporate projects preferred).
• Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and construction methods.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of local building codes, authority approvals, and HSE standards.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
