Civil Project Engineer – Contracting & Constructions

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a structural related field in a similar function

Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the UAE construction industry with strong knowledge and familiarity with DM portal, regulations and approvals.
• Leading and overseeing the execution of civil construction projects in Dubai who will be responsible for the full project lifecycle from planning and resources allocation to execution, cost control, and final delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Reports to: Project Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects across Dubai and the UAE.
• Coordinate with consultants, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with Dubai Building Code, DEWA, and Green Building Regulations
• Manage and track progress of all building permit approvals and inspection requests via the DM system.
• Liaise with other government entities such as RTA, Etisalat, and Civil Defense to obtain NOCs and other permits.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and ensure HSE standards are adhered to.
• Handle completion certificate process, including inspections and authority clearances.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Prepare reports on project progress, compliance status, and coordinate with project management teams.
• Manage contractual documentation (FIDIC-based or equivalent) and variation orders.
• Ensure timely submission of invoices, payment follow-ups, and project close-out documents.
• Coordinate procurement and ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
• Oversee QA/QC processes, HSE compliance, and technical specifications.
• Conduct regular progress meetings with clients, consultants, and related stakeholders.
