Cost Control Engineer - Civil

We are looking for a highly analytical and experienced Cost Control Engineer (Civil) to support our project management teams in controlling costs across various infrastructure and building projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for budgeting, cost planning, monitoring, and reporting to ensure projects remain financially viable and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop project budgets in coordination with project managers and estimators.
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare cost reports, cash flow projections, and financial status updates.
• Coordinate with procurement and planning teams to ensure cost efficiency.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier invoices against actual progress.
• Support in value engineering and cost optimization efforts.
• Assist in claims preparation, cost impact analysis, and variation orders.
• Ensure adherence to cost control procedures and company standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in cost control within the civil construction/contracting sector.
• Strong understanding of construction budgeting, cost tracking, and reporting.
• Proficient in cost control software and ERP systems (e.g., Primavera, SAP, or similar).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects preferred.
