Project Engineer

About the Role

Are you a passionate and driven electrical or electronic engineering graduate looking to launch your career? We are seeking a project engineer to join our team in Malir Cantt, Karachi. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to gain hands-on experience in project execution and proposal development within the electrical domain.

In this role, you will be a key player in our project lifecycle, from initial concept to successful completion. You will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to translate client needs into viable project plans, ensuring every detail is accounted for.

Key Responsibilities

• Proposal Development: Review technical specifications, project scopes, and client requirements to create accurate and feasible project proposals.
• Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Analyze Bills of Quantities (BOQs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, and technical documents to support project budgeting and cost analysis.
• Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop realistic project timelines and execution strategies.
• Collaboration & Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.
• Technical Communication: Prepare and present proposals, effectively communicating technical details and project plans to both internal teams and clients.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and client communications.
• Client Management: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring their expectations are met and maintaining strong communication throughout the project lifecycle.

What We're Looking For

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering is required.
• Experience: Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 6 months of professional experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Technical Skills: A solid understanding of electrical systems and engineering concepts.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are a must.
• Analytical Abilities: Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
