Project Engineer – Interior Fit-Out (Job Description)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site execution for interior fit-out projects.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare work schedules, material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings coordination.
• Ensure all works are completed as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and report site updates to the Project Manager.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials and follow up with suppliers.
• Supervise site workers and subcontractors to ensure proper workmanship.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure safety compliance on-site and maintain proper documentation.
• Assist in cost control, variation preparation, and project handover documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 10 years experience in interior fit-out projects (joinery, gypsum, MEP coordination, finishes).
• Strong knowledge of drawings, fit-out materials, and site execution.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• UAE experience and driving license preferred.
