Job Overview:

The Project Engineer oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of construction and fit-out projects across office and operational spaces. The role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with quality standards, safety protocols, and building regulations. This position is responsible for coordinating project activities, managing contractors and suppliers, monitoring site progress, and supporting all departments through structured, efficient, and compliant project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Fit-Out Management

• Plan, manage, and execute construction and fit-out projects from concept design to final handover.
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely project delivery.
• Conduct regular site inspections, monitor daily activities, and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and design standards.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, BOQs, and progress reports.
• Ensures all materials, finishes, and works comply with company specifications and local authority regulations.
• Lead the snagging and de-snagging process, ensuring all issues are resolved prior to handover.
• Oversee contractor performance and ensure alignment with contractual obligations.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations during all phases of the project and facility operations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Implement and monitor workplace safety protocols.

Coordination & Reporting

• Serve as the single point of contact for all construction &

fit-out related concerns.

• Coordinate with internal teams (such as Procurement, Facilities,
• Finance, Asset, IT, etc.) for project requirements.
• Prepare regular updates, reports, and management documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in fit out & construction.
• Strong understanding of building systems, MEP, space planning, and health/safety codes.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• UAE Driving License is a must.
