Summary

The Project Engineer is responsible for managing and overseeing construction projects to ensure they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. The role involves coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, reviewing technical documents, solving site issues, and ensuring project compliance. Experience in high-rise buildings and hotel projects is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts for compliance.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
  • Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Monitor site progress, inspect quality, and identify risks or delays.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation (reports, RFIs, change orders, drawings).
  • Support budgeting, cost estimation, and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with authorities for permits and inspections.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and provide project status updates.
  • Participate in meetings and provide technical expertise to ensure project success.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years total experience, including 5 years relevant; GCC experience is a plus.
  • Mandatory experience in High-Rise Buildings and Hotel construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and engineering principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • ERP software knowledge—preferably SAP—is required.
