Project Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Civil Engineer with proven experience in managing entire construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent project coordination skills, and the ability to supervise site activities efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

• Obtain and study project drawings; assess material and manpower requirements and submit requisitions after approvals.

• Assist in preparing detailed project programs with timelines and key activities. • Monitor project progress and initiate corrective actions through coordination with clients, subcontractors, and consultants.

Site Supervision & Execution

• Conduct regular site supervision ensuring progress as per plan and quality standards.

• Resolve technical issues, drawing revisions, and manpower requirements in a timely manner.

• Maintain continuous communication with clients on project status.

Documentation, Reporting & Claims

• Track project milestones and prepare progress reports and documentation. • Analyze progress data, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions.

• Maintain accurate records of delays/variations and coordinate with PQS for claims and time extension submissions

Quality Assurance, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to QA/QC and HSE policies at all times.

• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes and regulations.

Project Close-Out & Handover

• Coordinate preparation of as-built drawings, O&M; manuals, and handover documents.

• Assist in obtaining completion certificates.

• Manage site demobilization and prepare close-out reports

Snagging & Post-Completion Support

• Attend to snag lists and coordinate subcontractors for timely closure of all items.

• Support defect liability period obligations

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Civil Engineering and Construction Management skills.

• Experience overseeing full-cycle construction projects and site inspections.

• Knowledge of UAE building codes and regulations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Valid UAE Driving License.

Preferred Experience

• 3–7 years of relevant experience in the UAE.

• Experience in G+4 buildings, warehouses, and industrial projects (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
