Project Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer with strong UAE exposure in construction, fit-out, and facility management projects. The role involves managing site execution, coordination, and timely delivery of projects in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Candidates with contracting company experience will be preferred. Profiles with Infrastructure or EPC experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily project execution and site activities in Abu Dhabi
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Monitor site progress, quality, safety, and productivity
• Review and follow up on shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
• Resolve technical and site-related issues efficiently
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company policies
• Support project reporting, documentation, and handover activities
• Assist in testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical)
• Minimum 12+ years of UAE experience in Construction, Fit-Out, and Facility Management
• Strong experience with contracting companies (preferred)
• ADM license – preferred
• Proven experience in commercial, residential, mixed-use, or interior fit-out projects
• Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi local authority requirements and site practices
• Strong coordination, leadership, and communication skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; Primavera is an advantage
