Project Engineer

Job Summary:
The Project Engineer will manage and supervise interior fit-out and renovation projects in Dubai, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project schedules, quality standards, and local authority regulations such as DM, DCD, DEWA, and other relevant authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities for interior fit-out and renovation works.
• Ensure works are executed as per approved shop drawings, method statements, and specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Liaise with Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai Civil Defence (DCD), DEWA, and building management for approvals and inspections.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, and manpower deployment.
• Ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Review material submittals and ensure approved materials are used on site.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and snag-list clearance.
• Manage material requests, delivery schedules, and site storage.
• Handle technical issues, variations, and additional works.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Assist in project testing, commissioning, and final handover documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Interior Design / Construction Management.
• 3–5 years of UAE experience, preferably in Dubai interior fit-out and renovation projects.
• Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, joinery, MEP coordination, and site execution.
• Experience dealing with local authorities and building management approvals.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and BOQs.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project coordination tools.
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.
