Civil Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are hiring a Civil Engineer for our Contracting Company who can make plans, designs, and supervises the construction and maintenance of building structures. They will analyze survey reports, maps, and soil data, use CAD software for design, manage project budgets, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Planning: Create blueprints and technical drawings using CAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D for structural, hydraulic, and site projects.
• Site Management: Perform feasibility studies, site assessments (topography, soil), and oversee construction activities.
• Documentation: Prepare material specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and permit applications.
• Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to legal regulations, environmental policies, and safety codes.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve design issues.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license is often required for senior roles.
• Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and modelling tools.
• Skills: Project management, technical report writing, analytical thinking, and communication.

Experience Level:
Positions range from junior to senior, often requiring 2-5+ years of experience for intermediate roles.
