Role Responsibilities:

Support the Project Manager/Works Manager to ensure successful project delivery, including
-
Assist in preparing project estimates, budgets, schedules, and forecasted schedules in coordination with senior project engineers
-
Participate in and lead risk assessments and actively manage project risks
-
Help prepare project estimates, budgets, schedules, and execution plans
-
Manage, review, and monitor on-site activities' actual performance
-
Ensure that site works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications
-
Coordinate with Project Superintendents, surveyors, and subcontractors
-
Prepare submittals for consultants
-
Monitor subcontractors' daily site activities, including program, manpower, and safety
-
Resolve drawing coordination, site detailing, and construction method issues daily
-
Ensure timely inspections requested by consultants are conducted and recorded
-
Maintain effective communication with construction, contractors, and senior engineering teams
-
Prioritize safety and actively participate in the safety program for a safer work environment
-
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by enforcing standards, procedures, and regulations
-
Ensure the establishment and maintenance of safety and QA/QC programs by all parties involved
-
Review detailed design drawings and specifications
-
Be aware that this job may require performing tasks beyond the scope of this role due to operational requirements
-
Additionally, tasks related to HSE inspections

Educational Qualifications & Certification:
-
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Preferably Civil, Mechanical, Marine, Construction), or equivalent
-
Certification / Membership: Microsoft Project and/or Primavera 6 is an asset
Experience:
-
Minimum 05 - 07 years' experience in similar roles and industries
-
Project Engineering, Management Experience or equivalent combination of Trainings and experience
-
Marine and civil construction (Quay Wall, Breakwater, revetment, etc.)
