Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer specializing in Aluminum & Façade Systems to manage and execute the technical aspects of façade projects. The ideal candidate will oversee design, coordination, and implementation of aluminum and glass systems while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Engineer will work closely with architects, clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Coordination

• Assist in the development of project schedules and timelines.
• Coordinate the execution of aluminum and façade system projects from concept to completion.
• Manage project scope and ensure all technical specifications are met.

Design and Technical Support

• Review and analyze technical drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Provide technical guidance for the design and installation of aluminum and façade systems.
• Assist in the preparation of shop drawings and detailed technical documentation.

Vendor and Supplier Management

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely procurement of materials.
• Oversee quality control and assurance of materials used in façade construction.
• Evaluate suppliers and subcontractors for capability, quality, and reliability.

Site Management and Supervision

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and adherence to quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, site procedures, and quality protocols.
• Address on-site issues and provide engineering solutions during installation.

Cost and Budget Control

• Assist in preparing project budgets, cost estimates, and financial tracking.
• Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with budget, identifying and mitigating potential overruns.

Collaboration and Communication

• Maintain open communication with project managers, design teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Report project progress, milestones, and any issues affecting timelines or deliverables.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure delivery of high-quality aluminum and façade systems according to project specifications.
• Conduct inspections and tests on materials and completed installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in project engineering or design, specifically within the aluminum and façade industry.
• Strong knowledge of façade systems, including curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and aluminum structures.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and other relevant engineering tools.
• Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and codes relevant to façade design and construction.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Knowledge of site safety standards and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
