Perform structural analysis and design of bridges and related transportation structures, including new construction, rehabilitation, and replacement projects.
Prepare design plans, technical reports, calculations, and specifications in accordance with applicable standards and client requirements.
Support project management activities including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with internal disciplines and external clients.
Conduct structural modeling and load rating analyses using software such as LEAP Bridge, MIDAS, LARSA, or CSiBridge.
Coordinate with roadway, geotechnical, hydraulic, and environmental teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
Review design documents for quality, accuracy, and compliance with AASHTO LRFD, DOT, and local standards.
Participate in site visits, inspections, and field data collection to support design and construction activities.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical support and training as needed.
Assist with proposal preparation, cost estimating, and business development efforts.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
5–8 years of progressive experience in bridge design and structural engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required or the ability to obtain within six months.
Proficiency in bridge analysis and design software (e.g., LEAP Bridge, LARSA, MIDAS, CSiBridge, STAAD, or equivalent).
Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation; Revit experience a plus.
Strong knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and relevant DOT design procedures.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Compensation
The projected compensation range for this position is $89,000 to $115,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education and skill set.
