Position Title: Project Engineer – Civil (with QS & Planning Coordination)
Location: Al Mabella, Muscat, Oman
Reports To: Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a capable and experienced Project Engineer (Civil) to support project execution, reporting, quantity tracking, and coordination activities. The engineer will work closely with the Site Engineer, Project Coordinators, and Project Manager to ensure smooth project delivery, accurate reporting, and effective coordination with consultants and suppliers.

The ideal candidate should be able to handle technical and commercial tasks with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Project Reporting & Planning

• Prepare daily, fortnightly, and monthly progress reports
• Submit villa timelines, updates, and progress estimates
• Support schedule tracking and reporting
• Use Primavera or similar planning tools (preferred)

Quantity Surveying & Commercial Support

• Prepare and verify measurement sheets
• Support invoice preparation and submissions
• Assist in project budgeting and costing
• Coordinate with client/consultant QS teams

Coordination & Site Support

• Work alongside the Site Engineer, Project Coordinators, and Project Manager
• Attend coordination meetings on material and specification changes
• Coordinate with site, MEP, and electrical engineers to resolve issues
• Assist in site material requirement calculations
• Monitor progress against project targets

Procurement & Materials

• Coordinate material procurement activities
• Attend supplier meetings
• Support material selection and technical evaluation
• Track material approvals and deliveries

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 3–7 years of construction experience
• Experience in villa/building projects preferred
• Knowledge of measurement sheets and invoicing
• Familiarity with Primavera or similar software
• Good coordination and documentation skills
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders

Preferred Profile

✔ Civil Engineer with QS and planning exposure
✔ GCC project experience is an advantage
✔ Able to work independently while supporting the project team
