Qualification:
Minimum bachelor's degree in civil engineering or any related studies.
Minimum 10 years of experience in the field earthworks, concrete works and metal works, with a focus on estimating and bidding for large projects.
Relevant certifications in the field of civil construction (advantage, not mandatory).
Experience in working with tenders and evaluating supplier offers.
Experience in using cost estimating and calculation software, as well as project management software.
Advanced knowledge of dam construction technologies and technical solutions used in construction.
Ability to analyze and interpret technical plans and specifications, to provide efficient and compliant solutions.
Solid knowledge of regulations and quality standards applicable to the electrical field.Team Leadership skills.

Job Purpose:
STRABAG is a leading construction company with a vast portfolio of infrastructure and civil engineering projects. We focus on delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients, taking into account the highest quality standards. In this context, we are looking for a dedicated experienced estimator to join our team in Muscat, Oman to prepare detailed cost estimates, proposals, and bids for local and international projects such as dams, roads, bridges or any construction works.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Detailed analysis of the project, including technical documentation, plans and specifications, to build a complete and accurate offer for local and international projects such as dams, roads, bridges or any other construction related projects.
Collaborate with project teams to understand the technical requirements and identify all relevant aspects that may influence the offer.
Determine all equipment, materials and resources required to carry out the works according to the project specifications.
Accurately estimate labor costs, considering the complexity of the works and technical requirements, to ensure a competitive and accurate offer.
Initiate and maintain a constant dialogue with suppliers of electrical equipment and materials, requesting and obtaining their offers in accordance with the project requirements and the established terms.
Ensuring that delivery terms and commercial conditions are clear and respected, minimizing the risks of delays or non-conformities.
