Project Engineer (CNS ATM MET /AGL)

• Work with the construction manager, project Manager and ensure that project works are executed as per plans.

• Reporting to the construction/project manager the site progress and status of all the works executed on site.

• Review design document and drawings for Airport Project Services/Engineering projects in accordance with general Engineering Principal and Qatar Construction Standards.

• Determine scope, designs and have drawing and specification knowledge in terms of construction related activities for airport/aviation related projects.

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints

• Managing and supervising contractors and workers on site to ensure proper plans execution.

• Conducts construction inspection, reviews, and approves sub-contractors’ job on site.

• Resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.

• Ensuring that project, milestones are met, and that work is completed on time

• Supervising and witnessing installation work and system testing and commissioning including the preparation of acceptance certifications and reports.

• Ensure the requirements of Health and Safety at work.

• Overall responsibility towards the implementation of the work plan and the coordination with the quality assurance officer before to ensure successful inspections.

• Establishing and maintaining positive and effective relationships with customers technical team, partners installation team, and be a team player within the organization.

• Play a major in the project closeout and ensure the accuracy of the as built drawings, Operation and maintenance manuals

• CAD knowledge is a must.

• Take onsite leadership of all the closing activities in close coordination with the Project PM.

• Perform internal closeout risk assessments and devise plans to mitigate any foreseen risk.

• Work closely with all stakeholders and Fusion Technology Project Team in developing the project closeout procedure and checklist.

• Maintain spares and consumables at site in a secure manner and perform handing over.

• Create snag and de-snag list and ensure timely completion of de-snagging and site clearance.

• Develop project closeout records and ensure proper handing over to the end user.

• Log all leftover items from the project and conduct handing over to the Fusion Technology accounts procurements team with complete details of the handed over items.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (IT/CS/communication/Electronics)

Experience

• 3 Years of experience as Site /project engineer in GCC / preferable in Qatar /GCC in implementing special systems

• 1 year the aviation CNS-ATM-MET field (preferable)

• Original Equipment Manufacture certified on various CNS-ATM-MET Systems.
