Job Title: Project Engineer (Finishing)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing all construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Coordinating with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of the project
• Monitoring project progress and addressing any delays or issues by implementing corrective measures
• Ensuring compliance with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards set by authorities such as Dubai Municipality and Trakhees
• Managing and leading site teams, including engineers, foremen, and laborers, to achieve project objectives
• Reviewing and approving construction plans, method statements, and shop drawings before execution
• Managing procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely availability to avoid work disruptions
• Monitoring and controlling project costs, preparing reports, and ensuring efficient resource utilization
• Conducting regular site inspections to identify potential risks and ensuring quality control measures are in place
• Liaising with the planning team to track progress against the project schedule and making necessary adjustments
• Handling site-related challenges and providing effective solutions to technical and operational issues
• Ensuring proper documentation, reporting, and communication of project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Managing subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they meet contractual obligations and quality requirements
• Attending progress meetings and providing detailed updates on site activities and challenges
• Ensuring site logistics, such as workforce accommodation, transportation, and welfare facilities, are effectively managed
• Overseeing the handover process and ensuring all snagging works are completed to the satisfaction of the client and consultant

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 5+ years in finishing works (residential/commercial/high-end projects).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED50,000.00 per month
