We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Fit-Out & Finishes / Steel Structures to manage and oversee interior fit-out, finishing, and structural steel projects from planning through completion and handover. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project execution, site management, client coordination, quality control, budget monitoring, and ensuring successful delivery of projects within approved timelines.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution

• Plan, organize, and execute fit-out, finishing, and steel structure projects from commencement to completion.
• Review project drawings, BOQs, specifications, contracts, and client requirements.
• Develop project schedules, manpower plans, and material procurement plans.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of all activities.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.

Fit-Out & Finishing Works Management

• Supervise all interior fit-out and finishing activities including:
• Gypsum partitions and ceilings
• Painting and decorative finishes
• Flooring works (tiles, marble, vinyl, carpet, SPC, wood flooring)
• Joinery and carpentry works
• Glass and aluminum works
• Office fit-outs and commercial interiors
• Retail and hospitality fit-outs
• Furniture and fixture installation
• MEP coordination and finishing works
• Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.

Structural Steel & Metal Works Management

• Manage fabrication, installation, and erection of:
• Structural steel buildings
• PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) structures
• Steel warehouses
• Canopies and shade structures
• Pergolas
• Steel staircases
• Handrails and guardrails
• Steel platforms and catwalks
• Structural beams and columns
• Mezzanine floors
• Steel supports and secondary structures
• Architectural steel works
• Industrial steel structures
• Coordinate fabrication schedules with factory and site teams.
• Ensure proper erection sequence and compliance with approved drawings.

Technical Coordination

• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with design, drafting, engineering, and procurement teams.
• Review material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Resolve technical and site-related issues efficiently.
• Attend client, consultant, and progress meetings.

Quality Assurance & Control

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved materials, and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and quality audits.
• Monitor fit-out finishes, steel erection tolerances, welding quality, and installation standards.
• Ensure completion of snagging and de-snagging activities before handover.

Procurement & Material Management

• Coordinate procurement of fit-out materials and steel structure components.
• Monitor material deliveries and inventory.
• Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid project delays.
• Control material wastage and improve resource utilization.

Cost Control & Commercial Coordination

• Monitor project budgets and cost performance.
• Assist Quantity Surveying team with measurements, variations, and project claims.
• Evaluate subcontractor progress and work completion.
• Identify project risks and propose corrective actions.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and UAE regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Ensure safe lifting, erection, and installation practices for steel structures.
• Maintain a safe working environment across all project activities.

Project Handover

• Coordinate testing, inspections, snagging, and final handover activities.
• Prepare project close-out documentation.
• Ensure successful project completion and client satisfaction.
