Project Engineer – Fit-Out Projects

Key Responsibilities1. Project Execution & Site Management

• Oversee day-to-day site activities for multiple ongoing fit-out projects.
• Ensure all works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Plan and distribute work activities among site teams to optimize productivity.
• Conduct regular site inspections to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth progress.

2. Technical Coordination

• Review and understand all technical drawings, BOQs, material specifications, and method statements.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, QS, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Provide technical support and solutions to resolve site issues.

3. Subcontractor & Manpower Management

• Manage subcontractors’ performance, ensuring that work is completed as per scope and deadlines.
• Oversee site manpower, monitor productivity, and ensure optimal resource allocation.
• Verify subcontractor work progress and assist in certifying completed works.

4. Time, Logistics & Planning

• Prepare daily/weekly plans to ensure timely execution of project activities.
• Coordinate site logistics, including material deliveries, storage, and movement.
• Monitor progress and ensure alignment with overall project timelines.
• Work closely with the Planning Engineer to track and report progress.

5. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports, site updates, and work completion reports.
• Maintain complete documentation for inspections, quality checks, drawings, and site correspondence.
• Attend project meetings and update stakeholders on project performance, delays, and risks.

6. Safety & Quality Compliance

• Ensure all site activities adhere to company safety policies and UAE regulations.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure the team follows HSE instructions.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures on site.

7. Communication & People Management

• Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Lead and motivate site teams to achieve project targets.
• Handle site challenges professionally and proactively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
