Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Project Engineer with experience in civil, fit-out, and landscaping works for fitness and sports facilities. The candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, ensuring quality and timely delivery, and coordinating with contractors, consultants, and clients. This role requires expertise in specialized sports infrastructure projects, problem-solving, and strong project coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise on-site construction and fit-out works for fitness, sports, and recreational facilities, including flooring, landscaping, irrigation, and civil infrastructure.

Ensure all works meet approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards, including health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Prepare and monitor project schedules, milestones, and progress reports to ensure timely delivery.

Conduct QA/QC inspections, material testing, and compliance checks for civil and fit-out works.

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to manage work sequencing, quality, and site productivity.

Resolve on-site engineering and construction issues promptly to prevent delays and cost overruns.

Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily/weekly reports, inspection checklists, NCRs, and snag lists.

Act as the key point of contact for clients and consultants, providing updates, clarifications, and technical guidance.

Support budget control by monitoring material usage, resource allocation, and project expenses.

Assist in the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and QA/QC documentation specific to sports and fitness facilities.
Skills & Competencies:

Experience in civil and fit-out works for gyms, sports complexes, bowling alleys, and recreational facilities.

Knowledge of specialized flooring, landscaping, irrigation, and sports infrastructure requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

5+ years of experience in civil/site engineering, fit-out, or QA/QC for sports, fitness, or recreational projects.
