Project Engineer - Fitout

Job Title: Project Engineer – Fit-out

Experience: 5 – 7 Years

Location: Dubai

License: UAE Driving License (Mandatory)

Job Purpose:

To oversee and manage all on-site activities related to interior fit-out projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget, and compliance with design specifications and quality standards. The Project Engineer will serve as a key link between design, procurement, site, and client teams to ensure smooth project execution from start to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise day-to-day site operations for fit-out projects.

• Plan, organize, and monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery.

• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

• Coordinate with design, procurement, and subcontractor teams to ensure material and manpower availability.

• Ensure all site works are executed according to approved drawings, quality standards, and safety regulations.

• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure workmanship meets required standards.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.

• Assist the Project Manager in project planning, cost estimation, and resource allocation.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for technical approvals, site coordination, and inspections.

• Resolve site-related issues, technical conflicts, and ensure minimal disruption to project timelines.

• Ensure full compliance with company policies, health and safety procedures, and client requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5–7 years of proven experience in fit-out project execution within the UAE.

• Strong background in handling commercial, retail, and residential fit-out projects.

• In-depth knowledge of fit-out materials, methods, and industry standards.

• Hands-on experience in coordinating with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project scheduling tools.

• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
