Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Project Engineer – Home Automation to manage and execute smart home and automation projects from design coordination through installation, testing, and handover. The role requires strong technical knowledge, coordination skills, and hands-on experience with home automation systems.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution

• Manage end-to-end execution of home automation projects (villas, apartments, commercial spaces)
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per specifications

Technical & Engineering

• Review drawings, BOQs, and specifications related to home automation systems
• Prepare shop drawings, system architecture, and technical submittals
• Supervise installation, programming coordination, testing, and commissioning

Site Coordination

• Conduct site surveys and monitor site activities
• Resolve technical issues and provide on-site engineering support
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings and standards

Planning & Documentation

• Prepare project schedules, method statements, and work programs
• Manage material submittals, approvals, and deliveries
• Maintain project documentation, as-built drawings, and handover documents

Quality, Safety & Client Coordination

• Ensure QA/QC and HSE compliance on site
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with other trades
• Support client demonstrations and final handover

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Automation Engineering
• 3–6 years of experience in home automation or ELV systems
• Hands-on knowledge of systems such as KNX, Control4, Crestron, Lutron, RTI, or similar
• Experience in villas and high-end residential projects preferred
• Strong understanding of ELV integration (AV, lighting, HVAC, security)
• Good communication and coordination skills

Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR7,500.00 per month
