Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Facility Manager (AFM) to oversee Multiple datacentre facility operations, maintenance, shift management, vendor coordination, and SLA compliance. The AFM will ensure smooth and uninterrupted facility operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, uptime, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of electrical systems, UPS, battery banks, precision cooling units, HVAC, fire detection & suppression systems, DG sets, water systems, and IBMS/ELV.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory norms.
• Maintain 24×7 uptime and swiftly respond to critical alarms.

• Manage and supervise shift engineers, technicians, and O&M teams.
• Ensure proper task allocation, shift handovers, and staff training.
• Conduct routine performance checks and ensure discipline and adherence to procedures.

• Monitor preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution.
• Review service reports, identify recurring issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with OEMs and service partners for escalations and breakdown support.

• Act as a primary technical and operational contact for the client.
• Provide daily/weekly/monthly updates on facility performance, events, and SLAs.
• Manage customer expectations and ensure service quality and satisfaction.

• Maintain logs, incident reports, checklists, work permits, and audit documents.
• Track spare parts inventory, consumables, and maintenance history.
• Prepare and share compliance reports, risk assessments, and improvement plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / BE in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or related discipline.
• 4-7 years of experience in Datacenter Facility Management or Mission-Critical Infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of UPS, HVAC/Precision Cooling, DG sets, Electrical Panels, IBMS, BMS, Safety Protocols.
• Experience leading O&M teams and managing customer interactions.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, high-availability environment.
