Business Development Manager (BDM) – Data Center - (Location - Pune/Mumbai/Bangalore)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive datacentre business growth. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving revenue through solutions in datacenter infrastructure, services, and operations.

• Location: Pune/Mumbai/ Bangalore
• Experience: 5–12 Years
• Industry: Data Center / Enterprise Solutions / Colocation / Edge DC
• Salary: As per industry standards

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in Datacenter Infrastructure and Services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, OEMs, consultants, and partners.
• Understand customer requirements and propose suitable datacenter solutions.
• Work closely with technical and presales teams to prepare proposals, presentations, and commercial offers.
• Manage end-to-end sales cycle—from lead generation to negotiation and closing.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in the datacenter domain.
• Participate in industry events, client meetings, and presentations.

Technical & Industry Expertise

• Understanding of Datacenter Infra: Electrical Systems, HVAC, UPS, IBMS, ELV, Fire Systems, Racks, Cabling.
• Knowledge of Colocation, Cloud, Managed Services (added advantage).
• Strong background in B2B enterprise sales.
• Ability to interpret RFP/RFQ documents and coordinate solutioning
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and handle multiple client requirements.
• Target-driven and self-motivated approach.

Qualifications

• Graduate / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, IT, or similar (preferred).
• 5–12 years of experience in Business Development/Sales in Datacenter or IT Infrastructure domain.
