AD Energy Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a leading Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) developer that is scaling rapidly across North America. They are seeking an experienced Project Engineer III to join their growing engineering team.

This is a senior-level role where you’ll play a pivotal part in delivering high-impact RNG projects — coordinating complex designs, driving technical excellence, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

🚀 What You’ll Do

As a Project Engineer III, you’ll:

• Lead and coordinate all engineering activities for assigned projects.
• Oversee project design, ensuring compliance with schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Act as technical lead, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior engineers.
• Prepare technical specifications and tender documents for materials and equipment.
• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical support to clients, site managers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Collaborate across project management, sales, procurement, and operations teams.
• Drive innovation by identifying cost-effective improvements and solutions.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• Education: Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience: 10+ years in Project Engineering within the Industrial Plant business.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of contract specifications and supply limits.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems.
• Familiarity with regulations in waste treatment, renewable energy, and biogas/RNG plants.

Competencies:

• Solid project management awareness (budget, schedule, risk).
• Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Biogas, wastewater treatment, or RNG experience is a strong plus.
