Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in developing project schedules, method statements, and execution plans.
- Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and clients to ensure design intent is achieved.
- Plan daily/weekly site activities and ensure resources are efficiently allocated.
- Supervise and monitor interior fit-out works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Oversee site installation activities including partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, MEP works, and finishes.
- Ensure all work is executed as per health & safety standards and company procedures.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for technical compliance.
- Coordinate with MEP engineers to resolve technical issues and design conflicts.
- Provide solutions for site issues and propose alternative materials or methods when needed.
- Ensure works are carried out with the highest quality standards and within safety guidelines.
- Conduct inspections and snagging works during and post-completion stages.
- Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients.
- Coordinate procurement of materials and track deliveries.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely progress.
- Review and verify subcontractor work and performance.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and assist in updating project schedules.
- Maintain accurate site documentation including RFIs, site instructions, and as-built drawings.
- Attend client and consultant meetings as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in interior fit-out projects (residential, commercial, retail, or hospitality).
- Familiarity with interior construction materials, finishes, and fit-out methodologies.
- Knowledge of MEP coordination within fit-out projects.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Skilled in MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
