Project Engineer - Landscaping & Swimming Pool Experience

We are looking for a highly driven and meticulous Project Engineer to join our team at Perfect Technical Works and Landscaping. The civil project engineer will be in charge of coordinating and supervising the landscaping projects being carried out on the site, making sure that resources are used efficiently, adhering to project schedules, and upholding strict quality and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring that landscaping projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and other engineering specialists to guarantee proper implementation of design concepts.
• Supervise the installation of several landscape elements, including lighting, drainage, irrigation, hardscapes, and green areas.
• Monitor and manage site activities, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols, construction standards, and quality control guidelines.
• Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers to ensure that tasks are being carried out according to specifications and project timelines.
• To guarantee that all landscaping work complies with technical drawings, engineering requirements, and industry standards, conduct routine site inspections and quality checks..
• Provide technical guidance and support in the areas of soil testing, drainage systems, grading, and material selection.
• Review and assess construction plans, ensuring that the design is feasible and appropriate for site conditions.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues related to the landscape design or construction and find viable solutions to ensure the project continues smoothly.
• Assist in preparing material take-offs, quantities, and cost estimates for landscaping materials and labor.
• Ensure that resources such as materials, labor, and equipment are used efficiently to minimize costs and prevent wastage.
• Maintain detailed records of all project-related expenditures and report on any cost overruns or budget adjustments.
• Enforce adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on-site.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage safety measures to protect workers, clients, and the environment during the landscaping process.
• Prepare progress reports, status updates, and technical documentation for the project manager and clients.
• Keep detailed logs of work completed, materials used, and any changes made to the original project scope or design.
• Maintain accurate records of permits, inspections, and compliance certificates.
• In order to resolve problems, provide project updates, and make sure that all project objectives and specifications are fulfilled, coordinate and communicate with clients.
• Assist in handling client feedback and ensuring client satisfaction with the final product.
