Job Summary:
The MEP Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in construction or industrial projects. The role involves overseeing design reviews, managing site activities, coordinating with vendors, ensuring compliance with standards, and facilitating successful project delivery within time and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and understand MEP designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, and other project stakeholders for smooth execution of MEP works.
- Plan and schedule MEP activities in line with the master project schedule.
- Monitor execution on-site for mechanical (HVAC, fire fighting), electrical (LT/HT systems, lighting, panels), and plumbing (water supply, drainage) works.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Resolve site execution issues in coordination with other engineering disciplines.
- Liaise with procurement and vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation of MEP materials and equipment.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of systems.
- Manage documentation including drawings, checklists, as-built records, and technical submittals.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in MEP execution, preferably in cleanroom, hospital, commercial, or industrial projects.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings (AutoCAD/Revit knowledge is a plus).
- Knowledge of IS/IEC/ASHRAE/NBC/NFPA codes and MEP standards.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, and plumbing systems.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹95,000.00 per month
