Project Engineer (MEP) - ELV, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire , Electrical

Key Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, IFC drawings, BOQ, and contract documents for all MEP disciplines.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and internal teams for technical clarifications and approvals.
• Assist in preparing project schedules, material submittals, method statements, and work programs.
• Supervise day-to-day site activities for Plumbing, Fire Fighting, HVAC, Electrical, and ELV systems.
• Ensure installation works are carried out as per approved shop drawings and QA/QC requirements.
• Monitor manpower allocation, subcontractor work progress, and productivity levels
• Verify materials delivered at site and ensure compliance with approved submittals.
• Ensure all MEP works follow quality standards and project specifications.
• Maintain records of inspections, test reports, checklists, and site documentation.
• Ensure all site works follow safety rules and company HSE policies.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe working practices at the site.
• Attend site coordination meetings and resolve technical/site issues promptly.
• Assist in planning and execution of testing and commissioning of all MEP systems.
• Ensure systems meet performance requirements before final handover.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and highlight delays, material shortages, and site issues.
• Update the Project Manager on progress and challenges.

3. Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.

Experience

• 3–7 years of experience in MEP contracting projects (Buildings / Hospitals / Commercial / Industrial).
• Experience handling Plumbing, Fire Fighting, HVAC, Electrical & ELV systems.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of MEP installation standards and codes.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings (IFC, shop drawings, schematic layouts).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and project planning tools.
• Understanding of testing & commissioning procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
