Job Title: Project Engineer

Location: Remote – USA
Rate: Up to $40/hr (W2)

Job Description:

We are seeking two skilled Project Engineers to support software installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting activities for industrial data and operations platforms. This role requires experience with Proficy product suites, strong testing capabilities, and a solid understanding of networking and security concepts within Windows environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and uninstall Proficy Historian and Proficy Ops Hub (latest versions).

• Perform comprehensive testing activities including writing test cases, executing tests, logging issues, and managing resolution lifecycle.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot product, network, or system issues.

• Work with authentication and security technologies such as Windows domain management, LDAP, and SSO.

• Validate product performance and document test results, configurations, and system behaviors.

• Support continuous improvement efforts and contribute to process enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Proficy Historian and Proficy Ops Hub (installation, configuration, upgrades, uninstallations).

• Proficiency in test case creation, test execution, issue tracking, and defect resolution.

• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including domains, firewalls, and connectivity troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of Windows Security Management, Active Directory, LDAP, and SSO authentication workflows.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage priorities effectively.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
