Project Engineer – PEB & FacadeJob Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer – PEB & Facade to manage and execute Pre-Engineered Building (PEB), structural steel, facade, glazing, and architectural envelope projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, site execution, client coordination, quality control, subcontractor management, and ensuring timely project delivery within budget and quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Management

  • Manage PEB and facade projects from award through final handover.
  • Review project contracts, BOQs, specifications, IFC drawings, and client requirements.
  • Prepare project execution plans, schedules, manpower plans, and resource allocation plans.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to approved timelines.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.

PEB & Structural Steel Works

  • Manage fabrication, installation, and erection of:
  • PEB Structures
  • Steel Warehouses
  • Industrial Buildings
  • Structural Steel Frames
  • Steel Columns & Beams
  • Mezzanine Floors
  • Canopies & Shade Structures
  • Pergolas
  • Steel Staircases
  • Handrails & Guardrails
  • Architectural Steel Works
  • Coordinate fabrication activities with production and site teams.
  • Ensure proper erection sequence, alignment, and installation quality.

Facade & Glazing Works

  • Manage installation and execution of:
  • Curtain Wall Systems
  • ACP Cladding
  • Unitized Facade Systems
  • Stick Facade Systems
  • Structural Glazing
  • Skylights
  • Spider Glazing Systems
  • Louvers & Sunshades
  • Aluminum Doors & Windows
  • Glass Partitions
  • Architectural Metal Cladding
  • Ensure compliance with approved shop drawings and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate facade interfaces with structural, architectural, and MEP works.

Technical Coordination

  • Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings.
  • Coordinate with design, engineering, drafting, procurement, and production departments.
  • Review material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical submissions.
  • Resolve technical issues during fabrication and installation stages.

Site Execution & Supervision

  • Supervise site engineers, supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and workforce.
  • Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and project specifications.
  • Monitor daily progress and productivity.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews.

Procurement & Material Management

  • Coordinate procurement of steel, aluminum, glass, ACP, hardware, and related materials.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project materials and equipment.
  • Monitor material utilization and minimize wastage.

Quality Assurance & Quality Control

  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved materials, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients.
  • Monitor fabrication quality, steel erection quality, glazing installation, and facade finishing works.
  • Ensure timely closure of snagging and punch-list items.

Cost Control & Commercial Support

  • Monitor project budgets and cost performance.
  • Support Quantity Surveying team for measurements, variations, and claims.
  • Review subcontractor progress and work completion.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

  • Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and local regulations.
  • Conduct safety inspections and toolbox talks.
  • Ensure safe lifting, steel erection, glazing, and working-at-height activities.
  • Promote a strong safety culture on site.

Project Handover

  • Coordinate testing, inspections, commissioning, snagging, and handover activities.
  • Ensure all project documentation is completed.
  • Support successful project closeout and client handover.

RequirementsEducation

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Engineering.

Experience

  • Minimum 5–8 years of UAE/GCC experience in PEB, Structural Steel, Facade, Curtain Wall, ACP, and Glazing Projects.
  • Proven experience managing industrial, commercial, warehouse, high-rise, and architectural facade projects.
