Job Title: Project Engineer– Power/Solar & Energy Projects
Role Purpose
The Project Engineer will be responsible for independently managing assigned Electrical,
Solar, Power, and Energy Services & Solutions projects
from initiation to successful completion. This role ensures that projects are executed on time, within budget, and in line with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution:

Lead project execution, from pre-launch through contract review and order acknowledgment.

Plan, monitor, and manage project activities to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.

Coordinate continuously with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

Oversee documentation, drawings, and quality submissions to customers.

Ensure project closure with targeted milestones of cost, quality, and completion achieved.
Planning & Scheduling:

Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using project management tools.

Identify risks, delays, shortages, or nonconformities and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Profitability:
-
Monitor, control, and optimize site activities to improve efficiency and profitability.

Track project costs, budget adherence, and resource utilization.
Customer Satisfaction:

Act as the primary customer interface, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded.

Maintain the customer satisfaction index as per company targets.
Subcontractor Management:

Manage site subcontracting activities by monitoring quality, timelines, and costs.

Evaluate subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education
: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Experience
: Minimum of
+5 years’ project management experience
(
preferably in Electrical, Solar, Power, or Energy projects
).
Core Competencies & Technical Skills:

Strong
project management
skills with experience in Ms. Project and other tools.

Proficiency in
MS Office Suite
(Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Effective planning, organization, and time management skills.

Strong communication skills, fluent in English (oral and written).

Ability to influence, negotiate, and maintain customer focus.

Knowledge of codes, standards, and quality management in solar/power/energy projects.

Service contract management, offer/application management, and quote management.

Excellent
report writing
and documentation skills.
