Project Engineer - Steel

• Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and resource-loaded budgets.
• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Monitor project costs and expenditures, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
• Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, consultants, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Identify project risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor risk status throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supervise and inspect welding and fabrication activities on-site, ensuring strict adherence to quality codes and industry standards.
• Enforce quality control and assurance procedures to maintain project quality in line with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports, updates, and forecasts to management and clients.
• Ensure full compliance with contract terms, and effectively manage variations, change orders, and scope adjustments.
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical and site-related issues affecting project progress or performance.
• Support project close-out activities including snag lists, commissioning support, and handover documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in project engineering, preferably in erection projects.
• Knowledge of project planning, site coordination, and team management.
• Familiarity with safety regulations, quality standards, and budget control.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
