Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer – Structural Steel & Architectural Metal with strong experience in steel fabrication and architectural metal works. The candidate will be responsible for managing project execution from design coordination to fabrication and site installation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects involving structural steel and architectural metal works from initiation to completion.
• Review and interpret shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with design, drafting, production, and site teams.
• Oversee fabrication processes including cutting, welding, finishing, and assembly.
• Monitor site installation activities for steel structures and architectural elements (handrails, balustrades, cladding, pergolas, etc.).
• Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are achieved.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical and execution issues.
• Prepare progress reports and update management regularly.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years UAE experience in structural steel and architectural metal works.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, architectural metal detailing, and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and IFC drawings.
• Experience in project coordination and site supervision.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory).

Preferred Skills

• Experience in high-end architectural metal works (stainless steel, aluminum, decorative finishes).
• Knowledge of finishes such as powder coating, anodizing, brushing, mirror polish, etc.
• Familiarity with international standards (AISC, BS, Eurocodes).
• Experience using project planning tools (Primavera / MS Project).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
