Job Title: Site Engineer – Steel Fabrication

Job Summary:
The Site Engineer for Steel Fabrication is responsible for supervising and coordinating on-site steel fabrication and erection activities. This role ensures that all work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to approved drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily steel fabrication and erection activities at the project site.
• Interpret and implement structural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and fabrication teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure proper alignment, fitting, welding, and installation of steel structures.
• Monitor site progress and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
• Manage manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently.
• Identify and resolve technical issues on-site.
• Ensure all work is carried out according to project timelines and deadlines.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections and approvals.
• Maintain proper documentation (work reports, material usage, site logs, etc.).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in steel fabrication and erection works.
• Good understanding of fabrication drawings and welding procedures.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Working Conditions:

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
