Structural Engineer

· To check the structural integrity of the steel and aluminum structures, prepare and submit the required structural calculations within the planned time and to the best quality to achieve the target within budget.

· Achieve the budget for the current year according to the target for the Senior Structural Engineer.

· Submit the required structural calculations within the program timeframe.

· Prepare the structural calculations within acceptable levels of quality assurance.

· Review the tender projects and provide minimum pricing to facilitate the Commercial Team winning the project.

· Act as a link between the Structural team of the client and our team to ensure that the proposed system has been submitted as requested

· Manage pre-construction planning activities, review and comment on the Contractor’s construction schedule(s), method statements, risk assessments for the structural steel works.

· Participate in Prequalification review of proposed structural steel suppliers / fabricators and attend factory visits as required during the approval consideration process.

· Reviewing inspector’s daily reports and generally overseeing the inspector’s daily activities including works assignments, on-site performance, and supervising the contractor’s operations.

· Coordinating with contractor’s supervisory personnel regarding schedule, sequence, and method of work.

Qualifications:

· Must have a relevant Engineering degree from a reputed university

· Minimum 3 - 5 Years of experience in Structural Steel, Steel Connection Design and Steel Construction projects.

· Experience in ADM & DM Design Codes.

· Experience in Design Software like SAP, STAAD, Idea Static, Master Series, BIM, REVIT, TEKLA Etc.

· Structural Steel Fabrication constructions/consultancy Company experience is preferred.

· Should have relevant years of construction supervision experience.

· Previous experience working on construction projects in UAE is a must.

· Must have Quality Assurance relevant experience

· Ability to communicate clearly (verbally and written) in English

· Portfolio of built work which demonstrates technical capabilities and showing excellent site management skills.

· Must have a valid UAE driver's license
