Job Title: Project Head

Reports To: Managing Director / Vice President – Projects

Position Overview:

The Project Head – High-Rise Buildings will be responsible for leading, planning, and executing all phases of high-rise construction projects from initiation to completion. This includes managing design coordination, contracts and agreements, budgets, timelines, quality standards, safety compliance, and stakeholder relationships. The role demands strong technical knowledge of high-rise structures and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end project planning, scheduling, and execution for high-rise residential or commercial buildings.
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans in line with business objectives.
  • Ensure timely approvals, drawings, and construction schedules are maintained.

2. Contract & Agreement Management

  • Handle end-to-end contract preparation, review, and execution.
  • Draft, validate, and negotiate work orders, agreements, and addendums in coordination with legal and finance teams.
  • Ensure all contractual terms align with project scope, timelines, and company policies.
  • Monitor compliance, variations, and claims management throughout the project lifecycle.

3. Site Management & Coordination

  • Supervise day-to-day site operations and ensure adherence to design, safety, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate effectively with architects, site engineers, contractors and internal teams.
  • Review and approve drawings, BOQs, and construction methodologies.

4. Cost & Quality Control

  • Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
  • Approve vendor bills, material usage, and work progress reports.
  • Maintain strict quality control in all construction activities.

5. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers, Engineers, and Site Supervisors.
  • Drive performance, accountability, and alignment with project goals.

6. Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct periodic project review meetings and present progress reports.
  • Address client concerns, design discrepancies, and project risks proactively.

7. Risk & Compliance Management

  • Identify potential risks and delays, ensuring appropriate mitigation measures are implemented.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory, safety, and environmental norms.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.E. / M.Tech/MBA would be a plus).
  • 15 - 20 years of experience in construction, with a minimum of 10 years managing high-rise projects.
  • Proven expertise in contract management, project planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project management software, and safety regulations.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
  • In-depth understanding of contractual and commercial terms.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera / AutoCAD.
  • Strong coordination and decision-making skills under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
