Project HSE Manager

We are looking for a seasoned Project HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety, and Environment efforts across major Oil & Gas EPC construction projects . This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of safety compliance, risk mitigation, and environmental stewardship throughout the project lifecycle.

Your Role

As a Project HSE Manager , you will:

• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE plans, policies, and procedures aligned with project and regulatory requirements.
• Lead site safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all project teams and subcontractors.
• Provide HSE training and awareness programs to project personnel.
• Monitor and report HSE performance metrics to senior management.
• Coordinate emergency response planning and drills.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

Minimum of 15 years experience in HSE in construction, fabrication, installation and/or commissioning projects/operations in the oil and gas or petro-chemical industries, with at least 5 years’ experience in a lead HSE position managing team of HSE professionals.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering or Science or HSE discipline (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue)

Skills and Competencies

Have strong understanding of the HSE issues, practices and behavioral aspects in the Oil & Gas EPC business

Able to lead a team of HSE professionals such as HSE Engineers, Senior HSE Officers, HSE Officers, etc.

Sound understanding of the HSE Management System and HSE legislative requirements.

Broad knowledge and experience in audit processes

Competency in SSOW (PTW/WMS/Risk Assessment, etc)

Ability to develop HSE plans, Emergency response procedures/plans.

Ability to analyze incidents and apply root cause analysis techniques

Awareness of H2S hazards and control measures

Ability to speak, read & write English with good communication skills

Effective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills

Professional/Technical Qualifications

Lead Auditor ISO 45001/ISO 14001 or equivalent

NEBOSH IGC or equivalent (subject to approval by ADNOC group)

Incident Investigation Techniques

Any other HSE certifications
